I agree Mike. My bitx40 just stopped and I was convinced the 510 was blown. I couldn' get anything out, but all voltages dc were ok.
I finally tracked it down to a faulty switch in the mike input that i had added. Now everything works great
?Lots of contacts and the noise floor of this receiver rivals some of my more expensive rigs.
Go figure.
