I am reading this thread with great interest as I get my mind around diving into my bitx40 to try and get it working again. It worked when I last used it (at least I think it was working) one never knows when QRPing if/when you go off the air or conditions are just bad or fighting a pile up. Kinda like one bad headlight. You don't know one was out until the other one fails.
