I'm not sure yet. I have my ?BITX, but I'm going to keep it stock. I need a stock one for testing purposes and to test out software/hardware mods that come down the pike. I've ordered two more so I can experiment with those. I think the new display addon will keep the ?BITX's Si5351 because of the hassle costs of getting the AD9850 II module, but probably jump up to a minimum of a 3.5" display. We will likely use a Teensy 3.5 on the board instead of an Arduino family. Their clock speeds just aren't up to what we need for what we have in mind. The display will be touch screen and menu, so the display costs will rise (from around $7 to $15 for a 3.5"). Work will start as soon as the rigs get here, but it's going to take time to get things working. It will be Open Source and we will maintain our high-quality PCB.

Stay tuned...

Will your current TFT board work with uBitx?? I presume some code will need adjustment to accommodate the new transceiver hardware.

Just thinking as I'm waiting.
