It's a "bunch of wires" but I'm glad to see you have it
fired up and working. I just received a confirmation
that mine has shipped, but I didn't go for DHL so
I'm sure it will be a few weeks.
The encoder appears to be optical (?) as there is
feel of detents when tuning.
Perhaps Ashhar can confirm that. I could be wrong, but
I would have assumed it was mechanical.
