FWIW, I could hear other QSO's on 40m, so I'm pretty sure my RX is working. Frequency appeared to be spot on, after calibrating with a frequency counter, so I guess propagation is just not working in our favor..
I also heard what I believe to have been a bitx40 user in Vancouver, WA on 7195 kHz,, but I never heard name or callsign after listening for several minutes. Also, the signal faded in and out multiple times during each transmission.
