I¡¯m hearing a KD9 calling CQ BitX ??pretty strong in? KC area.? Also heard KC8WBK here in Kansas City. His signal however was ?FM¡¯ing and just above the noise? not ?fully readable. ??KC5RT

Well... I called CQ/listened for 15 minutes starting at 6PM PDT, and heard nothing on 7195. I did see that my TX was being heard by an SDR receiver in Sedona, AZ (i'm in Carson City, NV), but no reply to my CQ. I also listened to an SDR receiver in Pennsylvania and could make out parts of a QSO that mentioned the bitx40, but that was about it.

Maybe not as many West Coast bitx40 users, or my dipole is shooting at too high an angle.

I suppose we just keep trying!
