On the oscillator plug (p3) 12 volts is fed into pin 15 (orange wire). From there it goes to the input side of the 5 Volt regulator. The other connections are ground and the frequency out to the (red and brown) main board. The black is ground.

Hi. Could you clarify this? On the wire up diagram, the Raduino is clearly labelled as getting 12 volts and a ground connection. I am guessing that 12 volts can be connected back to the 12 volt power jack. Or is this incorrect? As it is, the diagram and the wire up instructions do not match, and your comment has created even more confusion for me.
