How the pot is connected is critical.? One end of the pot must go to ground.? The opposite
end must go to the regulated +9 volts.? The wiper must be connected to the center pin on
the TUNING connector.? When connected properly you should be able to connect a DC
voltmeter between ground and the center pin on the TUNING connector and see the voltage
change from 0 to 9 volts as you rotate the knob.

When I substitute the 10 turn 10k Bourne pot I get only 2 KHz tuning.? Both pots measure 0-10 Ohms.? I have tried various wiring combinations but am stumped.
