Hi thanks for the quick reply. The noise I get when tuning is one thing the steps I would like to control be it a 100Khz 10Khz or even 1Khz steps an rit function as well would be nice. I think the AD9850 would let me do all that and maybe more. I don't know much about this sort of thing sorry. Mark 2W0JMK
