The display on my sBitX has been fluttering and disappearing occasionally when I move it. I suspected a loose connection. What I found was worse. As you see in the photo, the cable to the display is cut (outlined with the red rectangle) at the edges. I know the cause. I've been opening and closing the unit many times to install a new MicroSD card as I experiment with the many new releases. If the top tips too far on the opened unit, it seems to abrade or cut the cable.
I have to find a better way to install upgrades via the MicroSD card. Your solutions are welcome, especially if you have tested them.
The cable is part AWM 20706. I can buy 100 of them (and no fewer!) on Amazon but cannot get them before I take my sBitX on holiday. I hope the right wiggling will keep it working at the beach.
