Re: DSP T41 book

Hi Jack W8TEE
The copy of DSP and SDR I just ordered and received from Amazon is labeled as the Third Edition.? Is this book a "corrected" edition?? I am a bit confused.? From one thread, I thought that the revised edition would be available in August.? Other post seemed to be saying:? "I got the book and its great."

I was confused, but ordered the book anyway because it was a great discovery in my?opinion.? I am interested in this area of radio.? So, I have the book!? Is there a change page or errata somewhere that list all the corrections and changes?

A errata page could be updated as needed and owners of this fine book could reference the page and make note of any updates.? Even if my edition is not the revised edition, I could make the changes and corrections as needed.?

Thank you for considering my question.

All:

We got the revised edition of the book and checked it against our error log and know that all errors have been corrected, Two errors have been found since we submitted the error corrections: 1) we misspelled a Beta's name (Len Koppl is the correct spelling), and 2) the 160 and 30M filter values in the filter table. We are going to post a file on SCHR for the missing filter values and correct Len's name after a 6 month wait to see if any other errors come to light. To the best of our knowledge, all errors are fixed.

If your going to FDIM, we will have some autographed copies for sale on Vendor's Night (Thursday) for $40. If you have already bought the book, we hope you'll take the time to write a review, as we lost over 140 good reviews on the 2nd edition when this edition came out. And, yes, you can still review it even if you reviewed an earlier edition.

Again, thanks for your support for the T41 project,
