This uSD card just tricked me. I bought 4 at the same time, three of which are still working. I don't know how long a uSD card lasts? It comes from a well-known manufacturer, evo+ 64GB, white color. One piece is permanently switched on in the camera, the rest I used here as an RPi backup. I look around a bit to see what I can expect. My trust in reliability has now been shaken.

I spent a good amount of time on this issue and found that the Pi update downloaded some incompatible files yesterday for whatever reason. The Pi distro was corrected sometime today and now downloads the correct files for the Pi4 platform. Someone fell asleep at the wheel over at Pi foundation HQ.?

This is now a non-issue for my build using the update/upgrade procedure.

FWIW- I recompiled WiringPi and reset the soundmapping to get it to work but the display was still having issues. Reflashed to Beta2 and performed an upgrade this morning and everything went smooth.
