Hello, I have a issue with my 7inch touch screen and have been working all day on trying to get it resolved. I dont have a model number and it is basically a generic model.
I need to have the screen rotated 180 degrees and I can do that in the screen preferences of the? RPI4 OS. My problem is getting the touch screen to orientate to the screen. I read that by adding an option "TransformationMatrix" in the file (from the root directory)? /usr/share/X11/ xorg.conf.d /40-libinput.conf, under the touchscreen section,? I should be able to correct for the screen flip and make the touch work correctly. However, when I add the option and rotate the image 180 degree,? the touch feature does not follow. I move my finger right, the cursor goes left, etc with the image inverted.
Why am I doing this, because my cables to connect the Pi4 to the monitor are too short and it would be a whole lot better to have the cables out the left side, versus the right side. Aesthetics basically.
