Re: #sbitx VNC access to sBitx + wsjt-x works #sBitx

John,

If you don't have a previously made copy of the v2 data, it must be created.
Because the given hw_settings.ini file is prepared for the given hardware.
If you download a new micro SD card image, it will not have the appropriate ini files for your hardware.
Those of us who received v2 hardware from the very first shipment had to create these files ourselves.
By the very first delivery, I am talking about those delivered in April and early May.
In the case of current deliveries, they are delivered with ini files created for the given factory number.
It is on the supplied uSD cards. When you upgraded v2 to v3, it was pointed out everywhere that you should copy these,
that you have to put them back into the program after the upgrade.

I suggest you check it out, if you have any copy of v2 you can extract this data from it.
Look for it in the /Home/pi/sbitx/data/ folder.
If there is none, make a copy of default.hw_settings.ini and rename it to hw_settings.ini.
Then the fine tuning begins... which takes quite a bit of time.
A previous conversation helps with this. See 'Where to set power levels' starting in message #102598.
