Dave,
The audio problems with WSJT-X most times seem to pop out of no where
Until a few days ago, it ran very well.
Then a day later the rx audio disappeared.
One time it was me , having clicked sbit twice.
The others, unknown was the cause was.
The solution for me is Shutdown.
Run sbitx app then check output capture.
Put it max..
Then I run WSJT-X and audio usually fine.
Sometimes it appears lower on the scale but still ok.
I then usually check the output capture level and many times it's only half way.
So I crank it up while watching the rx audio?
Level, and watch it go up as I move it up.
The odd times settings look ok but still no audio.
If so I do a clean reboot.
and check it again..
I usually close fildigi before loading WSJT-X.? I have not seen where it made a difference but, less load on system.
Still a mystery why?
Will keep plugging at it until I find a cure or a method to fix it ...
I believe it's audio sharing, or some software issue, since the audio works perfect with the? sbitx app.
It's to bad sbitx does not have a a mode which allows other apps to use its audio directly if user has selected digital mode.?
Or gives the app priority
I presume it's currently doing a virtual share ??

Strange, I checked all these settings, and they were all the defaults already except for the Capture level so there was nothing to change but that, unless I missed something.
The end result was rig control worked (wsjtx can change bands/modes) but I didn't see anything on the wsjtx waterfall.
I just double-checked.
So, is there a step missing in the above instructions?
Thanks!
