Just plugged mic into mic jack - immediately cause tx to power on Tried the Key jack and did the same thing.
It could be the mic that came with radio is faulty..(wire incorrectly? ) I will look and see if I have another mic...

Received my Sbitx today.? June 20
Ran it thru its functions
Made a contact on FT8 - Good
Issues:
1. Moving? between modes cause loss of rx - tried rebooting - no change.
2.? When i put the sbitx in ssb? and plug the provided mic into the mic jack - it causes my? rig to got into tx mode.
Tried rebooting - no change
Actions:
Decided to update - loaded putty and did an ssh from my windows computer.
In the terminal:
I did cd to sbtix
. \update? ? (Does this just up modules? /files?)
The update appeared to be completed - looked ok.
Do I need to run the .\build command ?
I did a reboot now moving between modes appears ok
However, if mic is plugged in ,it still causes the transmitter to go on.
As soon as I unplug the mic it it goes to rx
If I use the TX button in ssb and talk into built-in mic I see output - looks ok.
Any assistance is appreciated
