Well, quick update.? I pulled the Si5351 off an Amazon signal generator board.
Long story short, I have tuning happening!!? Now I need to go through the calibration procedure, but this is VERY promising.
When I was de-soldering the Si5351 from the Raduino, I heated up one side and lifted slightly and the whole IC popped off.? I though *expletive*, "Oh no, I've pulled the pads off the board!".? But no, it turns out the original IC may not have been well soldered.? I don't know if this was the problem (and I don't plan on going back), but it might be worthwhile if anyone runs into a similar issue to re-solder the Si5351 connections as a first step.
I'll report back after doing the cal procedure.
