Can someone please send me a LINK? to the latest application software that'll work on Windows 10 for the Pickit 3.?

I used my Pickit 3, 3 or 4 years ago with 3.1 software on an old laptop and I was able to make some changes on my ATU-100.? I now have a second working ATU? and want to set it to permanent Automatic mode Nd do the WRP mods.

I have a newer Laptop with Win10 which I put the same 3.1 software on it but my Pickit is not recognised.

As the Pickit3 is no longer supported, I've not been able to find 3.1 or any later software.

MP-Lab-X IDE/IPE works with the PICKit3.
5.x runs on Windows 10 (and includes mpasm)
6.x Runs on Windows 10/11 (but does not includes mpasm)

I uninstalled 3.1 from my laptop and from my PC and reinstalled. It could not find my Pickit3 on either machines.

I installed MP-Lab on my Apple iMac and on my Laptop. When I plugged in my Pickit3 a message came up like "May be insufficient pier for programmer. Try powering it externally" . . . Which I did but still get the same message each time I plug it in.

The Pickit lights up but otherwise does nothing.? I'm thinking it's dead somewhere along the line.

I only connected it once before when I reprogrammed my 1st ATU-100 to do auto and qrp and it all worked straight away.?

Can the Pic be programmed with An Arduino Uno + the ide or perhaps with X-Loader???

Guess I'll have to purchase another Pickit3 !

Hi Steve,
If you use the MP-Lab-X software, and attempt to program something in a different family that last used, then it usually re-flashes the bootloader and firmware.
