Cannot update FW, No virtual drive

Lou All Messages By This Member #3141 I am looking to upgrade to the latest firmware on my ATU-10, i have 1.4, but when I plug in the USB to my W10 laptop, I do not see a virtual drive. This is the first time I am upgrading the FW, so maybe I am missing something? It charges fine, and visually everything seems soldered correctly.
Lou All Messages By This Member #3142 Should have done a search, I see someone else has the same issue as me. So what I have tried: 1) Different cables - tried two usb-a to usb-c 2) Tried flipping the USB-C cables 3) Verified there is a PIC near the USB port Just now I tried pushing in the USB-C connector and it pops up briefly if I push in the connector with quite a put of force, so I suspect a bad solder joint now. Will report back in a bit if that fixes the issue.
Lou All Messages By This Member #3143 OK So in my case, it was a poor solder connection on the USB-C connector. I did a quick "wipe" of each leg going from the connector body toward the PCB, and I was able to upgrade to 1.6.
