Hey guys, I have a ATU-100 EXT tuner. For it to work automatically it needs to be in SWR=TUNE? Or do I need to press the TUNE button whenever i change frequency?

The ATU 10 does not have dedicated circuit to do a bypass, but when it is reseted, all inductances are shorted and all the capacitances are disconnected? . It is equal to short in and out.

You have ¡°Setup 1¡±, so the MFJ will see the unmatched SWR. If you want to compare the matched readings, you need to try ¡°Setup 2¡±.

hi Bill,
the tuner tunes in line before your MFJ. So the MFJ is part of the antenne system to tune. Your TX sees a matched line your MFJ sees an unmatched antenna..,

You can put the ATU10 into reset and switch it off.
Only if you have to pass tru 100w it is necessary to disconnect it physically. Better use cheap antenna switches.

I wonder ATU 10 is different from ATU 100. 10 use latch relay which will
remain in its previos stage when turned off. 100 will switch off all relays
when turned off. Both 10 and 100 dont have bypass
