Re: PCB size & some info
Hi Geoff,
Thanks for the link of the box.
My plan is to put it (100W version) on one 2U rack.
I trying to figure out if the Hermes Lite 2 will do SO2R or I need to HL2's.
I will run yagis from 50MHz

Re: Remote control.
Hello Germ¨¢n,
You can just connect the two RX/TX pins on the ATU-100 board directly to the TX/RX pins on your Arduino. There's no need for the RS232/TTL adapter.
Programming the PIC isn't more

Re: PCB size & some info
Nuno,
You can get the 1000W one is this box from Aliexpress, it all fits in rather neatly, and the box is pretty good quality.
I have mine with the 1602 display in it.

Re: Changing Torrid mix / size?
Hi David,
What about the -6 mix ferrites?? They are 0...55MHz rated, and other than 8.5 vs 10 relative permeability they look to be a drop in replacement.

Re: Hardware / software wish list
Hi All.
Just a quick question about the hardware: What chinees components would you replace while building a new (well, it's about 3 yrs old now) atu100?
Cheers

Re: Remote control.
Hi guys.
I tell you, I want to install an Arduino nano with an Ethernet shield in the same ATU1000's box to be able to monitor my remote radio station.
Initially I had thought of using the same I2C

Re: PCB size & some info
Another question, it's possible to have a 3.5", 5" or 7" display, or just the 16x2 and small Oled?

Re: Changing Torrid mix / size?
Hi, Roger
50MHz frequency requires air core coiles with silver plated wire.
An other way - use resonant antennas with no tuner, for that frequency it is very easy and not expencive due to short

Re: Remote control.
Hello David,
I'm just using one pin for TX and another for RX. It can be any pin as serial communication is handled in software in an interrupt. Code excerpt below:

Interesting.? I tried to use the display I2C to achieve this but gave up because the display did not respond only to data addressed to it.? In the end I added a second I2C which acts as a slave to a

Hello guys,
I changed David's N7DDC firmware for remote operation. I stripped the I2C / LCD functions and replaced it with serial communication.
Communication can be made via EIA-485, using cheap
