least 10V I have set mine to 11V

I would not think so. There are two coils in a latching relay, and only one in a conventional relay. So the electrical connections are not there, that would require a new PCB.

Although it should be technically feasible, financially it's not likely to
make sense. The latching relays represent the biggest chunk of the cost of
a new kit, so you won't save all that much money.
