ATU100 Randomly changing mode

Well, it looks like the 8 pin IC took the easy way out.......burnt up! I just bought the device and plugged it into a 12DC supply using the front mini-usb port. I have been pouring over the schematics

Hi Kevin Isn't the eeprom write protected? This means you will have to clear the PIC and data first and then re-program it with the protection bit unset. 73 de Jo PG4I
