Hi,
Check that you are connecting to the correct points on the PCB (see below).
Are you continuously shorting B2 to GND or for a short time? A short press should toggle the bypass state.
There is a 50ms de-bounce on the button press.
When bypass is active, there should be an underscore ¡°_¡± on the top right-hand side of the display.
