I have purchased a 1000 Watt version from Ali Express of this ATU, went to try it out a few days ago and connected it all up, power on and had display of SWR and Power on the display unit, unit was connected to my random wire antenna, but is resonant on 40M, so setup the radio IC7610 up to TX about 10 watts or so on a frequency inside the 40m, went to TX and expected relays etc to clatter about as a match was found, but nothing, SWR indication was 9:99 or something like that ? I am wondering if the program is screwed up inside the PIC ?? Took the lid of the unit, and on the board with the PIC on there's no sign of a programming port ? just connections to the main board with the relays, inductors and caps on, SWR in/Out and to the display unit. If I need to check the program in the PIC, how do I go about this, presume I need some sort of lead to connect to a USB port on a PC and software to read the PIC ?
Any help truly appreciated.
