Re: ATU 10, Display losing pixels when tuning?

Oops, we speak different languages. Yr picture showing you are using ATU100, while I am referring my ATU10. May be the email thread is somehow modified. Yr mod may not be applicable to ATU10.?

Anyway, tks for quick response.

Instead about the filter capacitors on the butttons,
here is the blog where I got the idea. I can confirm that it works,
and the automatic tuning becomes more stable by adding those two caps.

Oh, I wish, but it's on the mast :-P I use it only remotely

The mod is really simple, clip the ferrite on the lcd cables... keep them
away from the toroids... voila

Hi Fabrizio, (resend to correct typo)

Can you take some photos to illustrate your resolution method. I am interested to try on my ATU10 as well, since I got the same issue.

Hi,

?I had the same issue on mine. It was solved by making sure that the wires
connecting the LCD pass as far as possible from the PCB with the toroids,
and putting a ferrite bead clip around them.

?Another mini-mod that I warmly suggest (this time against the tuner to go mad
during TX in automatic mode) is to put two .1uF ceramic capacitors in parallel
with the buttons, VERY close to the chip.

I have an ATU-10 bought from Banggood. All seems good with the construction and function except it appears that when tuning RF is messing with the display and turning pixels on / off that shouldn¡¯t be. This happens during tuning and with both versions 1.5 and 1.6 of firmware.? Anyone else seen this happen or fixed this problem?? As I said the tuner works fine and cycling the power resets the display. It is annoying that the display gets hard to read after a few tunes.?
