I wanted to avoid a balun and try to match a simple vertical wire on a 6m tall glass fiber pole (with some radials). It should be matchable on the 4 bands between 20m and 10m. Do you propose some length for the radiator and radials? I tried it with a radiator that was around 4.2 m (below 5m to avoid high impedance on 10m) and some different length radiators, going first diagonal down and then laying on the ground. But on 10m and 12m, I couldn't get a match.

Owen Duffy has a bunch of interesting stuff on his site about EFHWs, for different power levels (). I have only experience with power up to 10W, which is plenty for my purposes. I never used the KN5L winding method, but the data looks promising.
