Well i cooked my ferrite cores on a swr coupler,saw one had burned coils so rewound it but still the coupler had a high swr when inline,i thought cooking the torroids had killed them,at first i only rewound 1 coil that was bad,turns out the cores were ok once i rewound them.i think by this once cores cool down they are pretty much ok?.
