Hi Paul B1 switch is a spring loaded press button which puts the atu into automatic operation - it just needs one press which which will put the atu into automatic operation which will indicate by a dot at the end of the first line on the screen - if you press the button again it will go out of auto operation - all it is doing is quickly earthing the pin to ground - when in automatic mode you can then put the transmitter into tune mode with a max of 10 watts - the atu should then go thru its sequence to get the best swr. then turn the tune mode on? the tx off B2 bypasses the atu - same type of button switch as B1 ?the way you have the the b1 and b2 wires just dangling would indicate that you are getting rf into the PIC - You need to put a 100n capacitor to ground as per the diagram I have two of these atus ready built - one of them did not have auto or bypass buttons - to set B1 into auto mode I had to touch the? PIC pin to ground to put it into auto If you have any further questions - let me know your phone number and I can ring you - my mobile phone plan has free call to uk 73 Tony VK2IC If you On Tue, Jan 10, 2023 at 8:57 PM paul larner <quadzillatech@...> wrote:
