Goal is to:
-have SMA and also SO239 connector to choose from for the antenna side
-avoid adapters
-use the extra so239 connector that came with my kit?
-use a standard so239 cable to my so239 9:1 unun
-reduce costs buying more cables/adapters
-have ready to go option between SMA and SO239 in the field and for later antennas, standardized small kit
-initially for QRP, so yes avoid any loss using adapters.
