Can I just solder an additional SO239 connector to the pcb where the existing sma jack is? This is on the ¡®out/ant¡¯ side. ?I would like to be able to choose between sma and SO239 output jacks to antenna. ?Obviously not use both jacks at the same time, just one or the other. Would it be bad to solder up the additional jack? Would it damage the circuit or degrade performance etc?
To clarify, the PCB will have the standard SMA connector soldered directly to it. ?I was wondering if I can additionally solder the center pin via a wire of a so239 jack to the same pad, or the connected pad behind it. The added so239 would be mounted to the external case similar to how they are mounted in normal kits. Thx
