Re: #ATU-10 not tuning on all bands #ATU-10

I'll just (semi) hi-jack Marek's thread to say that on my ATU-10 with the new firmware 1.5, using a dipole set on 20m, the unit tuned brilliantly on 20m, 30m, 40m, 60m and 80m - the worst SWR being 1.24.

When I built the ATU-10 I used an inductance tester to get the inductors to the value shown on the schematic, which meant every one required one less turn than was indicated. I couldn't check the smallest inductor as that got the tester confused between inductance/capacitance, so as all the others had one turn less I did the same with that one too. All capacitors are as indicated, though I might change the ones on mine to SilvaMica at a later point. The only other change I made was to go for 0.1% resistors on the Stockton bridge rather than the indicated 1%.

On 20m with the 20m dipole the SWR was 1.02; a nano-VNA confirmed the resonance?was slightly off at the beginning so I'll take that as the ATU-10 is working okay.

Hope you get the problem sorted out with your unit Marek.

Marek, using simple multimeter you can check if all the L and C components switch properly.
Using VNA you can check if C increase correctly.?
