Dear Glenn,
The longest keypress brings it into a power-down mode, the unit does not react on anything but the next longest keypress.
No RF-power will wake it up from there.
It is only the 30-minutes iddling time, when just the OLED is off, that the unit keeps monitoring the RF-power and may re-tune if necessary. Any keypress or RF-conditions change resets this 30-minutes timer anew.
