Why not try a DRA-30 from MastersCommunications and use it with the Soundmodem program (free at UZ7HO - also get the PTT.DLL Zip). You'll find this set up decodes a bit better than the KPCs.

And if you are only annoyed by the scroller, you can go to >Configure >Scroller >RF Only and only stations heard over RF will be in that area.

Under Windows, I think you need to use the paired COMM port and make sure you have the D74 BT connection locked into KISS mode. Use Simply(KISS) on APRSIS32 because the D74's TNC is different than

I think I figured out the map thing. But anyone have a D74 and use the bluetooth? I have it paired with the laptop and it works with winlink but aprsis doesn't seem to pick it up under bluetooth

I recommend also disabling "purging" function. That removes map pieces
after time.
