Re: APRSISCE and using a yaesu ftm100dr
Yes i can receive packets on the radio and to APRSISCE via radio speaker output to computer mike input. I would like to use it as digipeater but i am beginning to think it is not possible. Maybe a TNC

Re: APRSISCE and using a yaesu ftm100dr
I think I saw on the yaesu group at one point that they don't have real tncs inside which is why they are not accessible. If the 100 is like the 400 it should have a data port where you can attach an

Re: APRSISCE and using a yaesu ftm100dr
Check your user manual. Can this device accept incoming data? The original Yaesu radios would only output data to an attached computer and could not accept data from a computer for transmission. Not

Re: Not Showing Up on APRSICE but on APRS-FI
Its just the way I am typing it out. I am, in most cases, using programing software (RT Systems) which sets the SSID up. I just select from a Drop down menu. Brian

If he is using the non-paid version of the aprs.fi app, it does NOT do true APRS, but simply puts location information onto the aprs.fi web site.?? If you try looking at the raw packets for his

Re: Not Showing Up on APRSICE but on APRS-FI
There are LOTS of moving parts behind what shows up on your local map.?? For instance: 1) Do you have an APRS-IS port configured and Enabled??? If you double-click the upper left (or top center)

Re: Not Showing Up on APRSICE but on APRS-FI
W4BJB13 (note the lack of a dash, any reason for that omission?) is on the CWOP network, not the APRS-IS network.?? You'll only get that in APRSIS32 if you add an additional port connected to a CWOP
