Arizona Block

Ok, people. It's early, I know. However this is a big block, and I'm looking to make some big deals. You wait til midseason, you might not see guys this good.?

Open to upgrades anywhere, but really looking for premium additions. Do not come at me with your Matt Vierlings.?

Easiest upgrades probably SP and C.?

Here is what is for sale:

Ben Rice- Having a breakout 2025. Young. Here to stay for years, presently hitting .327 .448 .655 vs righty.

Agustin Ramirez- no longer limited to only 2 minor leaguers once season begun, he is in the majors and hitting a ton. Elite bat to be.

Adael Amador- touted prospect, back in the majors.

Trevor Story- AAA for this season, but back in a big way in 2025. Power speed and fielding in the middle infield.

Eury Perez- back midseason and super young and studly. Likely elite pitcher for the next decade.

Noah Schultz- elite pitching prospect, likely debuts later this year and wont' take a minor league slot next year.

Amador pretty cheap, everyone else here is either expensive or very expensive.?

Hit me up if interested.

Is there a CM for St. Louis?

Ok, not very deep into the season but deep enough for a revised Arizona block!

1- Ben Rice- looks like a big bat going forward. He was always a hyped prospect, and now is hitting .317 .414 .650. The walks are great to see, show a great approach. Only 26 years old.

2- Trevor Story- looks healthy for the first time in a long time. 3 hrs, .299 avg, and 6 for 6 in sbs. ALways fields great.

On the smaller side I also have Kumar Rocker, already up and in the rotation and Adael Amador just called up for the rockies.?

Looking for upgrades now. I am pretty solid all around, but could upgrade Realmuto at C, add an elite SP, or add an elite OF.

GS Stats

The Rosters tab on GS should be accurate with the MLB current stats now. I'm sure there will be guys I missed that aren't matching exactly with player names in the database I use, such as players like Michael Harris II, Vladmir Guerrero Jr., etc., and players with tildes in their names. I have fixed many of these already. If you see any players who have had appearances in MLB this year that aren't showing stats on GS, please let me know and I'll fix them as well.

Cincinnati CIN sweeps 3 at Washington WAN

Cincinnati comes to town and sweeps the Nationals.

(unsolicited editorial ¨C a CF 4 is bad enough, but a 2B 4 who degrades to a 5 when runners are held is a killer¡it will be a long season)

?

Game 1: The Reds roared out to a 6-0 lead (Woo would not get out of the 1st hitless in this start), then held off the Nationals for a 7-5 win.? Washington made 2 errors and allowed 2 unearned runs.

?

Game 2: Reds struck quickly again; O¡¯Neil Cruz reached and Bryan Reynolds homered.? Cincinnati never looked back and Nick Pivetta was on his game, as the Reds coasted toa 7-1 victory.

?

Game 3: Cincinnati scored in the 1st and Ohtani homered leading off for a 1-1 tie until the 5th.? JJ Bleday misplayed O¡¯Neil Cruz¡¯s single and Josh Naylor doubled home Cruz to make it 2-1.? The Reds broke it open in the 7th thanks to more poor CF play, and a single through a drawn in infield extending their lead to 6-1.? Washington attempted a comeback in the 7th, falling far short in the 9-3 loss.

Washington takes 2 of 3 from NY Mets

Washington started its season and homestand on a winning note, taking 2 of 3 from the visiting NY Mets.

?

HIGHLIGHT:? In Game 2, Brian Woo carried a no-hitter into the 9th inning.? Oswaldo Cabrera¡¯s single leading off the 9th broke up the no-hitter.? Even the X chart was kind considering Woo¡¯s wobbly gloved teammates.

?

Game 1 was up & down¡ªWashington jumped to a nice lead, then Gerrit Cole imploded, only for Washington to rebound for the win.

?

NY took out their frustration in the series finale, walloping Zach Eflin and Marcus Stroman for 9 runs.? It would have been more, had Alejandro Kirk not ended the Met¡¯s 9th by lining into a triple play.? Hayden Birdsong dazzled with 7 innings of 1 hit ball.
