Game 1: The Reds roared out to a 6-0 lead (Woo would not get out of the 1^st hitless in this start), then held off the Nationals for a 7-5 win.? Washington made 2 errors and allowed 2 unearned runs.

Game 2: Reds struck quickly again; O’Neil Cruz reached and Bryan Reynolds homered.? Cincinnati never looked back and Nick Pivetta was on his game, as the Reds coasted toa 7-1 victory.

Game 3: Cincinnati scored in the 1^st and Ohtani homered leading off for a 1-1 tie until the 5^th.? JJ Bleday misplayed O’Neil Cruz’s single and Josh Naylor doubled home Cruz to make it 2-1.? The Reds broke it open in the 7^th thanks to more poor CF play, and a single through a drawn in infield extending their lead to 6-1.? Washington attempted a comeback in the 7^th, falling far short in the 9-3 loss.
