Re: QRV Info DL5YYM

Hallo Hiro,

in the period from 29th Mar 2024 until 31th Mar 2024 i made 224 QSOs with stations from JA-Land, that is great.

A lot of station was very taff too read, because the signals was very very weak, partly 119 report only with a lot of callsign-reququests of my side.

But, that is no problem for my. Its for my a regular challenge, pick up the weakest signals. Loud signals read can everybody.

My QRV-plan was very simple:

After sunraise in DL i have used my antennas for 20 m and 15 m to direction JA.

Mostly am i startet on 20 m for a short period. After them i made QSY for a long period on 15 m, because on 15 m i can expecting more stations from JA-land.

In JA land you have a lot licenses until 50 W-limit on 15 m.!

After the signals on 15 m are going down, i have don QSY on 20 m.

The first JA signals on 40 m was here between 18:45 and 19:25 UTC until 20:45 and 21:30 UTC

On 20 m i have used a 3 El-Beam abt 20 m up fixed direction JA and 2 x 3 El. Beam abt 34 and 31 m up fixed direction USA

On 15 m i have used a 4 El-Beam abt 23 m up fixed direction JA and 2 x 4 El. Beam abt 37 and 34 m up fixed direction USA

Additional i can use a rotable 3 El.- Beam on 20 m 20 m up and 4 El.Beam on 15 m 20 m up.

On 40 m i have used a 2 El.-Beam abt 20 m up fixed direction JA.

I can on 40 m also use a 2 El- Beam abt 40 m up fixed direction USA.

For all other directions i have a rotable Beam 40 m 20 m up.

A little problem was for me 10 m.?

The rotable 10 m beam doesnt work, somthing defect.

But, i have tryed too use a simple dipol about 12 m up.

For each band i have used a separate powerful PA and Computer workplace (all computers ale in one network).

I can switch on and off each antenna separate and in combination.?

So is it possible pick up the weakest signals, when i switch off antennas from other directions with noise only.

Important for this game is, that the DX station rhythmic send the own call with short breaks for listening.

A good tool for radio forecast is that:

Thank you Hiro for your QSP of my activity in different JA-mailing lists. That was very helpful.

I can so write a lot of new JA-callsigns in my log.?

A lot of the callsigns was not in my support-database, that is great.

DL5YYM Guentner-san,

How was your QRV beaming to JA last time?

Some people said that you were loud even on 40m.

When you'll have time, please share some results with me and then I'll QSP to JA A1ML.

Thanks for the Q we had.
