Re: Aliner sidewall delamination
You can do the cutting, sanding, fiberglassing, and painting approach to fix the bubble.? A DIY repair of that type won't be flawless, because it takes a lot of practice to get that done nicely. If

Re: Aliner sidewall delamination
Hello Kathryn: Is there anything you could mount where the bubble is: Perhaps an outside light, an electric outlet, water or propane connection. Drill mounting holes, through would be best, pour some

Re: Time for a new battery.
I finely got a call from Battery's Plus that the battery I ordered in June had finally arrived at the store for Pickup.? So decision time, go with the AGM or go LiFoPO4.? I looked at the cost of
Aliner sidewall delamination
I have a bubble(?) of sidewall delamination on my Scout Lite - not causes by water penetration. No longer under warranty. Anything I can do to fix it? And how bad is delamination?

Re: Removing ac unit
The A/C takes up about two thirds of the volume under that bench, and if you never use it you might as well reclaim that storage area for stuff you do need. There are 110V and thermostat wires going

Re: Heating and cooling problems with an Aliner Family Expedition
Chalet already uses that space between the outer wall and the flat, vertical inner wall as a ¡°duct¡± (plenum?) for the A/C. There are two adjustable round vent grilles near the top that blow cool

Re: Heating and cooling problems with an Aliner Family Expedition
Ok I see now.? Aliners have a curved rear wall.? The curve in the duct is following the curve of the wall. Chalets have a straight vertical rear wall inside.? There's a curved wall outside, and an

I just don't want to add another wire from TV to trailer.? And I haven't seen anybody post how well it works with stock wiring, and that's something I'd like to see confirmation on. I don't think I

Re: Heating and cooling problems with an Aliner Family Expedition
According to the DIY article, the ductwork is made of thin plywood. I imagine is could also be constructed of thin air conditioning aluminum if provisions were made to combat crushing. I have no

Re: Time for a new battery.
I've had very good luck with my Renogy 20 amp DC-DC converter. I installed it in my 2005 LXE near my internally located 100 aH AGM camper battery. While it'll work with your present stock TV to camper

Re: Heating and cooling problems with an Aliner Family Expedition
Those new heat pumps are rated at 9000 BTU, and under normal circumstances should easily cool a small area like the ~ 60 square feet found in a a-frame trailer. The problem is most a-frames are drafty

Re: Heating and cooling problems with an Aliner Family Expedition
The thing i can't figure out with those ducts is how can the camper fold up?? The ducts look fully rigid.? They're screwed to the rear wall, and glued to the roof with double sided mounting tape.?

Dave, thanks for the info. I really like the ductwork diagrams that you sent. I plan to give it a try. Do you know if there have been any problems with condensation, moisture and or mold due to using

I have a victron mppt controller for solar run 200 watts of solar (2 cheap panels & hinged them together to make my own portable setup) utilizing the zamp port on the side of my aliner to plug them

Re: Time for a new battery.
Your solar controller in your suitcase should have a selector for the battery type, and that should include lithium.? The current Renogy controllers support lithium.? Check yours.? It should also.

Re: Time for a new battery.
So Dan Smartt and Steve T.,? do you use a solar panel to charge you lifepo4 battery?? Did you have to change your charge controller on your solar panels? If so what brand did you choose to replace
