Re: Wind Cheeta
Truckers who use straps to hold down trailer loads often twist the straps a few times, so they don't drum in the wind. You might try that with your Wind Cheeta straps, but they may then jam when they

Re: Electrical hum from left brake on Aliner
Good guess, but this is factually inaccurate. The hum is totally caused by a working brake actuating magnet. Sorry. Dave ......... Hum is caused by AC voltage. How does AC get into a 12VDC system?

Water filters. (formerly Water pump)
The rvwaterfilterstore.com has some good filters. I got a standalone sediment filter from them for filtering water before it goes into the tank. But Ive only had to use it once. But as far as putting

Re: Water pump
When I first bought my '07 Chalet Arrowhead the pump started to leak the very first time I used it. I repaired it but started thinking about a better way. I eliminated the pump and installed a marine

Re: Best Generator to power "Entire" trailer at once?
Wow, you had quite a struggle with that unit. Just for grins, the Powerhorse brand is also blue :) and it just works... with more capacity than advertised. Perhaps due to the copper windings they brag

We must be on the same wavelength :) My system has a lot of PEX tube and fittings in the connections to the pump. Just got back from a fruitless search for a FIP brass or plastic tee to covert to

Re: Water pump
New to forum. Just got 2016 Expedition, which we continue to tinker with (and fix!). We had a large 32 gallon tank put in at the dealers. Decided to only use for wash water etc, not drinking. But, was

Re: Electrical hum from left brake on ALiner
Hum is caused by AC voltage. How does AC get into a 12VDC system? Maybe it's generated by the brake controller, but my guess is that you had the converter plugged into 120VAC and the 60Hz ripple was

Re: Water pump
Hi Fred, The pump on our 2012 Expedition has not given us any problems yet, but on a recent trip I did notice that it didn't want to prime despite wiggling the camper which usually does the trick.

Here's my take on the Wind Cheetah on my Aliner. It works as designed if you "set" it like a seatbelt with a quick pull. This takes up the slack and locks it in place. It does keep the sections
