Rena's eyes brightened when Henry expressed an interest in Botany. There was her Jekyll! Not that he ever really faded, the more she studied Henry the more certain she was of that, though the way they had connected from the start assured her at once of as much.

?
"You do have far more time to explore your interest in botany later and you excel in it," she told him.
?
Then glancing away she shrugged, blushing.
?
"Sorry...I know that must be strange to hear...to know I am familiar with things you will do. Just...I want you to be good with you when...well when you may not be without my hopefully helpful and true assurances."

"As for Hindustan, I'm sure you found some of what you wanted there, and that you overcame your reservations. You dragged me to Africa last year and I had the same reservations," she said with a chuckle, then hastily corrected herself in a clarification. "I jest when I say dragged, you merely convinced me that it would be alright there so I went with you...because I trust you."

"As far as my inability to dream, I don't think food or climate should have anything to do with it. You and I traveled a lot and there were different foods and climates. Maybe it's the time travel thing, but I mean dreams exist always so that frankly surprises me."
?
She shrugged helplessly, thinking once again about how the time travel thing terrified the hell out of her if she thought on it too much and didn't comment as she had already expressed this and did not see how saying it again would help.

For her part, Leti found herself gaping at the 2 dumbly as if they were mad while she tried to wrap her mind around what they were saying. It did feel a bit like she'd gone down the rabbit hole, the bar maid decided.
?
"Aren't we going to go to sleep," she asked again, wondering if some women ever fainted from simply not getting sleep.

I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed.
I get along with the voices inside of my head.
