Locked Re: At The Diner (Cordelia/Jessica/Castiel/Halbrek/etc)

Castiel had to think on the matter. Vampires had a dark aura he could sense as well, their king should be exuding a more potent darkness than others. What made him think of Uriel then, likely only Sam's comment, and the memory of the few inhuman inhabitants of Sodom. They were not quite similar to vampires though, and the vampire race seemed to have more to do with a primeval demoness. He was likely being too paranoid, the angel of war reassured himself, with so many real threats taking place all around them.

"Yes, that must be it. I felt something unusual and it triggered my senses, I suppose. A silly vampire king and a sillier me for noticing. A good habit on the battlefield and somewhat unnerving socially, as I have been told," Castiel's dark eyes shone with all the sincerity he could master. "Perhaps a pity they could not be swayed to work for us, I wonder if there is a bargain we can offer them, to have more foot soldiers," the angel uncertainly suggested, trying to cover up his suspicions of Uriel's actions until he had any semblance of proof.
