"You mean the vampire king outside with his queen in the parking lot," Halbrek casually replied to Castiel's question.

The query so casually spoken from the only being she had ever loved, did cause her some trepidation, though. Why would he be alarmed by a vampire, even the king of a particular old race? This entire town felt off, it was a passageway for so much, which is why they were there, but his question made her skin prickle...made her hope it was the vampires who had alarmed him.

"They're not killing anyone," she added, mostly for Sam's benefit.
