On mill I use a drum switch because of bugs. If a bug dies in switch all need to do is turn the switch on and off a few times would clear out the dead bug on contacts I also use type of switch on

Bugs and electrical has been big problem for over 100 years. It something which is over looked in motors all time. A easy fix before you take everything apart. Dave
