Re: to oil or not to oil, that is the question

 

The generic for paraffin available locally in all Walmart stores. It is ordinary mineral oil. Used by wood turners and fine woodworkers. I use it on wood knife handles.
Also wood carvings.
Dries once absorbed. Easy to apply with cloth rag.
