Cletus I know you get what you pay for but the gravity "spring" feed is just horrendous but it can still be simple & inexpensive that's why I asked for a "cheap" alternative to add the hydraulic

IMO the 4x6 is just what it is and it is good at it too ...a simple inexpensive metal cutting bandsaw. Keep it simple! IMO More useful and less expensive mods would be a Lenox Bi-metal 10-14 Blade and
