IMO?the 4x6?is just what it is and it is good at it too ...a simple inexpensive metal cutting bandsaw. Keep it simple! IMO More useful and less expensive mods would be a Lenox Bi-metal?10-14 Blade and Recirculating Coolant system. But if you're bent on spending the bucks?on hydraulics, I'm sure it could be done with a little bit of engineering.
