Ted, I have no regrets going with the Enco saw. I got the cheapest
version, the one with the non-USA, non-UL motor and haven't had a
problem with it.
Mine is on a mobile base that I welded up from square steel tubing
and flat bar. The saw is bolted to the mobile base and is very solid
with it set up this way, quite unlike the flimsy factory arrangement.
