Thanks for your reply Bill. Mine feels tight however there is noticeable wear on the pivot shaft, I haven't measured it but I can feel the change with my fingernail. My concern regarding load on the lobes is more when the thing flips up or falls over for some reason, my motor is beat up from the last owner having problems with this, hopefully my new stand will prevent these problems but I like to be prepared.
I'll leave it and just oil in the holes for now, put it together last night, nice and smooth now.
