Need help with Contarex Bullseye -- addendum
An addendum to my original inquiry: I have been informed, by a dedicated experienced Zeiss Ikon collector far wiser than me in this area, that the piece I need is called the meter baffle, not the diffuser. So, I lost my meter baffle and would like to find a replacement. Baffling indeed! Thanks, David Silver

Need help with Contarex Bullseye
Hi folks, Between here and there and the next place, the diffuser that bayonets onto the selenium cell "cyclops eye" exposure meter of my Contarex got lost! Does anybody have a spare available, or know where one can found? Thanks! http://www.photographyhistory.com/ContarexBullseye.jpg Best wishes, David Silver

Hi: I'm John Reid and am located just north of Boston, MA. I was given an old Nikon F and that plus the internet led me to ZI cameras. I'm now the proud owner of three and trying to find out more about them. Is there a list of serial numbers in an old post? The first one I have fooled around with seems to be in working order so I've loaded a roll of film and we'll see what happens. Best, John

need help in finding out which camera I have 9
Thank you for the add to the group. I collect antique cameras and actually shoot with them when I can find the film for them. I need some help with figuring out what camera a recent purchase is. I recently purchased a ICA camera with serial # G23538 and the lens is Novar Inastigmat 1/6.8 Foc 13.5 cm No. 427273. If anyone has any idea what this camera is or can put me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I think it is either an IC Lola or Volta but not sure. I am pretty sure it's a 3x4 plate camera just not sure which one. Thanks in advance for any assistance in this. Kim O.

ZEISS IKON Ideal 111: Help 6
I just got two older cameras from my father in law. One is a ZEISS IKON Ideal 111 (6x9) and the other one I still have to figure out. The Zeiss is in pretty good shape and looks like it was hardly used... the other one not so much :( I would like to get the Zeiss into a state where I can go out and take some pictures. Looking at the ground-glass it has some residue and/or artifacts (see link with picture below). I am considering cleaning or replacing it. It seems that by taking off the little screws (on the right side of the picture) the glass should slide out... but it doesn't. I am looking for any help/advice on how to proceed. Also looking for advice on obtaining a 120 Roll Film Back for this camera (what make/model will fit, good sources (except EBay etc.) Thanks in advance Matt Picture: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1g4a9i1m6sf248m/20170705_115632.jpg?dl=0

Contax I outfit
I recently joined this group hoping to get some feedback on the Contax I outfit i just acquired. It includes a 1934 Contax I body, 28mm Tessar, f1.5 and f2 50mm Sonnar lenses, 85mm Sonnar, 135 Sonnar and 300mm Tele Tessar K, plus all appropriate viewfinders, lens shades, filters, and film cannisters in plastic cases. In addition it includes a ground glass back with numerous plate holders and Contameter close up set. All in a fitted case of the period. Is this a unique set or are there more known? I believe the only missing piece is the diopter holder. This fits onto the accessory shoe and holds tiny corrective lenses in front of the viewfinder. Please help me find this!! Any feedback or comments are welcome. Lee Laney
